Even though this FFU show is full of news, there are no questions; my how the tables have turned. Darryl, Colin, David, and Lauren sit down together to go through the news this week. They cover the FF13-2 release dates for Japan and North America and how SE is trolling Europe. They also go through the new Type-0 trailer that’s packed full of new info as well as all of the classic SE games that are being released on PSN. They don’t pause for long before going into talking about the Burning Question from the last episode, which was “what is your favorite FF song.” The gang even goes further and talks about their favorite music. Colin is outcast for choosing music from FF12. The music segment comes from FF8 and will serenade you out to the end of the show. As always, don’t miss out!

This episode of MiniGUP is full of fan rage and depression with the multitude of controversial topics. The gang jumps into community responses from the previous episode about Uncharted 3. Shortly after, Clo, Colin, Darryl, and Lauren get into a heavy discussion about digital distribution and how it could easily take the games industry into a horrible situation for us, the gamers. The intensity of the conversation doesn’t waiver for even a moment as the group then moves into a heated debate about Capcom and where they may be going as a company, publisher, and game developer. They round out the show with a question from you guys and the quartet talk about the new Ratchet and Clank and how co-op campaigns can be both a good and bad thing. This is definitely a show full of in depth conversations and is one not to be missed.

Holy cow, there is actually news this week in the world of Kingdom Hearts. Lauren, Darryl, Branden, and Churro sit down to talk about how Nomura has finally come out of his hole and has given some much needed info KH 3D, even though the information we received is rather cryptic. Famitsu also released the results from their KH poll and we have all the info ready to give you! After the long lost news section, the crew goes through your answers from the last Burning Question which was “what were your thoughts from KH’s presence (or lack of) at E3?” And what KHU show would be complete with out your questions? What band should do a song for KHU and who is your favorite voice actor? The show gets rounded out by some amazing music from the game to leave you wanting more! Don’t miss out!

FFU is here and we have news to report, no thanks to E3! Darryl, Colin, and Lauren have a sit down to chat about what has transpired in the last couple weeks including Type-0 release updates, the potential for new HD remakes, and the announcement of a brand new FF game. Afterwards, the trio goes into the burning question and reads your answers to the inquiry “What did you think about the FF coverage at E3?” After rambling on, the gang has 4 questions that they respond to including what Crisis Core character was the most annoying, is SE advertising enough in North America, should the original creators of FF join together to make the new FF installment, and what subtitle would we give for any of the main series Final Fantasy games? The show is rounded out by a great remix from FF10 as the gang says their goodbyes. It’s quite the show this time around; make sure you don’t miss it!

The Uncharted 3 Beta has arrived and the gang could not be happier. This episode, Astharis, Colin, Lauren, and Darryl sit down to talk about various issues in the gaming industry. They start off by recapping what happened last episode and read your comments about what you thought on E3 this year. Then, they go into an in depth discussion about the new Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta. Do they like it; do they hate it? Who’s to say! They spend a little time talking about what their gaming plans are for this summer which ends up to everyone having to admit to their piles of shame. Well, suffice it to say E3 was quite a disappointment when it came to Kingdom Hearts. The gang assembles to discuss how much Nomura and SE hates us. After the flame fest, the group moves into the news about the Famitsu KH poll and how that could affect future games. Afterwards, they go through your answers to the burning question on which key blade was best. They then go into an in depth discussion as to what the KH franchise would need to do to make the series worthy of the coveted Game of the Year award. The show is rounded out with a lovely arrangement of Dearly Beloved. As always, you won’t want to miss this!

With E3 having come to a close, a plethora of info about FF 13-2 has come out. If you want to hear about what’s been going on, then go no further. Darryl, Lauren, and Colin are back from their adventures in Los Angeles and sit down to talk about all things Final Fantasy. They give their news from a interview with Kitase about Type-0 and then they move into their impressions on 13-2. After playing the demo, they talk about gameplay, graphics, combat system, characters, basic story (what we know so far) and much much more. E3 has come and gone and we’ve got the run down of what information dropped at the huge event. This episode of MiniGUP, Astharis sits down with Colin and Darryl and has them talk about their experience at this year’s conference. OMG...we actually have news this week for Kingdom Hearts! Is the earth in its final days? Who’s to say, but despite the impending apocalypse, Lauren, Churro, and Darryl sit down with a new face...er, voice...on the show, Branden. They talk about how you can turn you’re phone into a keyblade, read responses from you on what you thought of Re: Coded, and then they go into your questions. Was the voice acting any good? What boss was they hardest to beat? Do you think KH will release all of its games on PSN for the 10th anniversary? And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The very face of MiniGUP has changed, and it now generates nothing but pure, undiluted awesome. The Final Fantasy news drought has been broken for this episode. Want FF5? Well, unless you live in Europe, you can’t have it, or so we hear from Darryl, Colin, and Lauren in this 51st episode. After some news, they jump into a lot of questions. Here’s are a few questions to look forward to: should numbered FF titles be on handhelds/MMO, will there be a FF7 remake on the NGP, and what would FFU do if Square-Enix shuts down or if the old creative team makes a new company better than SE? Also, this episode brings a new type of question called the Burning Question. Lot’s of fun and shenanigans ensue.

Gaming Union has reached a major landmark in its history with this, the fiftieth episode of Final Fantasy Union. Almost a year a go, Final Fantasy XIII was released, which is the game that Gaming Union was built around. The FF universe is going through a bit of a news drought, but what the content lacks, the gang makes up for in wild tangents and crazy conversations. Then they turn their interest to questions where they discuss what FF music to buy, what other type of FF games should be made, and what enemies they felt guilty about bludgeoning to death.
